But that is not to say there are not other ways to ensure your articles are the best they can be and are the ones picked up by other sites or the ones that go viral and drive floods of traffic to your site.

Keep your articles focused. When your article is written and goes all over the board, you will lose the readers confidence and in most cases, their interest. They came to your article looking for specific information, and if you go off on a tangent, well, they will go off somewhere that offers them the actual information that they were seeking.

Structure, structure, structure. Building an article is like building a building, without the proper foundation, without the proper formating and everything else being in place where it is supposed to be, your article will fall flat and fail. Capture the reader quickly. The first thing a reader will ever see in regards to your article is the title. So you have those few characters, that single sentance, to grab their interest and bring them into your article. Use your one sentance chance to the best of your ability, because if they don’t get past the title, they won’t get anywhere in your article. Best ways to do that are with compelling words like “secret” “tips” and things like “experts reveal.” Anything that would grab your attention and make you want to read it.
Another way to do this is to go through a directory and make a list of the title that grab your attention, keep that list handy when you are creating your title, alter the titles to work for you and hopefully they will also captivate others the way the original one did for you.
