List Building- Article Marketing to Build Your List
Category: Uncategorized
The money is in the list, if you are in internet marketing in any way somewhere along the lines you have heard that you should at least partially focus on list building. Nothing is better then 10K people waiting for your next email or your next product to give your income that extra boost. So how can you use article marketing to increase your list?
Quite simply you write your articles and submit them to article directories. The wonder of this is because most directories have such nice page ranks the search engines index your articles quicker and more people get to see your information. Not to mention, if it is really information worth sharing you will quickly see other sites pick up the article as well giving you further exposure. By submitting your article to these directories you can drive traffic to your site, and this is where you build your list. Using your resource box, you send potential customers to a landing page where you capture emails. ( Make sure your link is clickable, no one is going to take the time to copy and paste to their browser, you have limited time here. Make sure you take advantage of it.)
On your landing page you offer something for free that has to do with what your article was about. A PLR e-book or report works great if you don’t have your own product to give away for free. Just make sure it relates to the article that brought them to your site in the first place. In order to get this free item they simply need to sign up for your list. See how easy that was, now they get what they want and you get a list. Not to mention, you can also monetize your site with clickbank and adsense and earn that way as well. At least if they aren’t willing to sign up for your list, you may make a few cents from them clicking through and purchasing from clickbank or just simply for clicking through your adsense ad.
So you’ve begun to build your list. Avoid some common mistakes though. You have to remember those who signed up for your list are mostly freebie seekers. Don’t start by throwing a $300 product at them, they simply won’t buy it. Give them a few more free items, maybe pitch a $10 item at them. Slowly build. The money is in the list and you want to keep as many on your list as possible. Don’t drive them away quickly buy constantly pitching high priced products at them.
Article marketing is a great start to list building. Submit as many articles as you can and watch your list grow.
