Things To Do And Things To Avoid

Due to living in a n instant gratification society, articles that are written in short and easy to browse formats, such as tip sheets tend to do very well. They draw the reader in, while also making it very simple for the reader to quickly skim through for the information they need, and then to your resource box.

Now of course, there are multiple ways to write tips articles and that is what we are going to discuss. The two most common ones are the tip articles explaining what to avoid and what to do.

These look like this-

“The Ten Things To Avoid When Getting Your Ex Back”

” 3 Things To Do For The Best Clickthrough”

Notice the other part of it yet?

The part where in your title you actually let the reader know exactly how many tips they are getting. Some advise to write as many as possible, others will tell you to give them a taste test of sorts with a resource box telling them to clickthrough to get to the rest of the tips. Either way works. You just need to test and see what works for your writing style and your niche.

You can also use this as a soft way to presell something. To do this you create your article with a combination of both positive and negative tips. You can do this by selecting a few of the benefits of a product as well as some of the potential drawbacks. Using this method works well to establish credibilty with readers because it doesn’t come across as the typical this product is perfect BS article. Instead, it presents things from a less biased veiw point.
